Molly Hurt, MEd, NCC
Resident in Counseling
I believe that everyone deserves to experience a sense of fulfillment, both within themselves and in their relationships with others. If you're feeling overwhelmed by stress, self-criticism, or a sense of being stuck, I’m here to support you in finding more confidence, ease, and self-trust in your life. I specialize in working with individuals who tend to be hard on themselves, struggle with worry, are navigating life transitions, or wish to change behavior and patterns in a sustained way. I help clients align their lives with their own personal needs and values, respecting the unique perspectives and experiences each person brings.
With curiosity and compassion, we'll explore the obstacles to your well-being, help you discover a richer understanding of yourself, and develop practical strategies to improve your life satisfaction. In our work together, I aim to provide a warm, non-judgmental space where you can be yourself—honestly and fully.
While therapy can be hard at times, it can also be a space for growth, clarity, and moments of lightness and laughter. Life can be full of meaning, connection, and vitality. It's possible to feel better than you do right now. I truly love this work and I'm here if you'd like to reach out and explore working together.
I have availability for in-person sessions in Charlottesville and virtual appointments for clients across Virginia.
